Her eyes are bright blue-grayish. She dresses mostly in t-shirts and shorts, though she might also be seen wearing button-ups, she likes to have at least one thing related to Zeus, like a lightning bolt or something. Hiking shoes, just because she walks a lot. She mostly carries a backpack with her. And a friendship bracelet, she got this from Caty. She had to use it when in big danger. Same story for the necklace, a leather cord with a tiny hanger of a lighting bolt on it. This was also a gift. Caty gave it to Ren when she told her about the thunder. To never forget the first time they met, on the rooftop of her very first school.

History: Ren always got bullied on school because she saw monsters and was scared. Kids would call her names, and gossip about her. They thought she was crazy, monsters and stuff. She met her first monster at the age of 8, it was a hell hound. Ren was on the rooftop of the girls boarding school. Caty helped her fight it.
She only has one friend Caty, they have always been close.
Ren does not like her full name, René, this is because this is the name of her aunt as well. When Ren was a baby her parents, as far as she knows died, though she also heard stories of them disappearing. Her uncle married his wife Ren around that time. But when she saw the baby she refused to adopt her.
[More background on aunt and uncle. They lived in Canada, where her uncle originated from. Her uncle, Brian is a Laistrygonian giant. Her aunt René knew this and in order to protect Ren she refused to adopt her into their family, so that Brian wouldn't get the chance to hurt Ren. Ren found out trough a dream she had, repeatedly.]
That is how Ren ended up on a boarding school.
Ren has never been a good student, she has been kicked out of about five schools. All due to the fact that she has ADHD and is dyslectic, and she could never get herself to do things, she was constantly looking over her shoulder for those monsters.Before she came to Camp Half-Blood she traveled with Caty. They would camp in the city and get to Camp together. On their way Caty told Ren that she was this special thing called a demigod. She was a monster magnet, and she told Ren that Caty was here to protect her. Ren played along because she felt like going on an adventure and getting way from being kicked out of even more schools.
Once Ren arrived Caty had died, only leaving a Rainbow flower behind. Caty was a satyr, a transgender satyr. Ren has been sad about her death for about a year, now she has realized that Caty's death was to keep her alive. Caty was brave where as Ren wasn't. She still partly blames herself for that.
Personality: Ren is a quite shy girl, due to the fact she has always been different and was bullied for it. She thought the best thing to do is being unnoticed. She is a good listener. Children of Zeus are supposed to be born leaders but Ren begs to differ, she doesn't really exell on the whole leader thing and would rather leave that to somebody else. She can be brave but only when it's about somebody she really cares for, also it helps if nobody else is there because then she'll have to fight, if there's others, she'll leave it to them and sneak away.
Ren her favorite thing to do is running around camp, she doesn't really have a specific favorite activity. She also likes watching other people do activities, sometimes to learn from them. She always had this weird love for flying, and all things flying. And were most people are afraid of thunder and lightning she loves it, it makes her feel save.
Ren her flaws would be that she is unsure and would rather have others do the work. She is not aware what she might be capable of, so if she were to be attacked she would just freeze. She hates to be the point of attention. She really wants to help others, but she's quite clumsy. She is now trying to be less scared of the things that attack her.
Also her ability to fly isn't really up to date, but she has mastered the art of crash landings.
